Exploring and Fostering Connections
Teacher’s Day
In honor of Teachers Day, the students conducted
an assembly on 14th September where students
showcased their talents to express their appre-
ciation for teachers. The students of MYP or-
chestrated various performances such as songs,
comical roleplays, dances, short films, satirical
conversations, alongside segments such as baby
picture montages of the teachers and an award
ceremony with categories based on the IB learner
profiles. This student-led event was heart-warm-
ing, humorous, and thoroughly enjoyable all at
the same time, with students having an oppor-
tunity to share everything they loved about their
teachers on this digital forum with artistically-de-
signed e-cards, poem recitations, and short vid-
eos bythe students. The annual tradition by the
2023 batch continued with Annika and Simar’s
witty “Unsolicited Interruptions” segment and
WAP news, accompanied by Manya and Gurjyot’s
humour-filled conversations; we honoured and
savoured these memorable traditions for yet an-
other year. As the assembly came to an nd, the
chat was flooded with endearing, touching mes-
sages from students in their continued expression
of gratitude.
