Exploring IDU Connections
Students of MYP 3 showcased their extraordinary talents in the
interdisciplinary showcase, “Panorama” which featured a vari-
ety of events.
Round-Table Conference
In this event students displayed the Berlin conference by taking
on the roles of different world leaders in the year of 1885 and
debating about the division of Africa.
Music Showcase
Students presented a creative rendition of “Sarfaroshi Ki Ta-
manna”, an urdu patriotic poem written by Bismil
Azimabadi. The incorporation of the instruments and melody
along with the beautiful words of the poem by Bismil Azimaba-
di was absolutely breathtaking.
‘Gen X’, a Student Production
Students performed a play that highlighted the struggles of
generation X due to the diversity in today’s
global world. The students created a marvelous storyline and
portrayed it even better using their stellar acting skills.
Colonialism
The last event of the showcase was a narration on the impacts
of colonialism in Scotland named “The Saga of Scottish Inde-
pendence”.
