Retroxvaille

I created @retroxvaille, my art account, to document my creative journey in
visual art, hair styling, photography, video editing, and baking. It is like my
child and a platform that depicts my artistic growth. I continuously share my
talent with my followers, hopefully inspiring them to share their work too. It
has become a treasure trove of some of my favourite works, with an ever grow-
ing community, aesthetically-pleasing stories, and regular posts. Other artists
and social media influencers recognizing my work give me the opportunity to
collaborate with other talented individuals.

I have always wanted to be good at art in some way or
the other as I loved the creative freedom that comes
with it. I spent years trying to make portraits and
sketches on paper but it never felt right until one day
when I opened my tablet and started drawing. Digital
art was never something I saw myself doing hence, I
shocked myself and my family when I started draw-
ing. I felt excited and happy every time I drew and I
loved the creative freedom that came with it.

I started with drawing family members and friends
to give them portraits on their birthdays and slowly
I started experimenting with different brushes and
apps. Thanks to youtube, I was able to enhance my
drawings and that is when I started my instagram
account. @illustratedbynayla was created by me to
showcase my learning and knowledge about digital
art and letting others tag along through the process
in hopes that they will learn something new.
