uture of Resilient cities – Case Study Approach’ was
a guest lecture by Ms. Rupsa Chakraborti, an urban
‘Fplanner and human geographer working in the field of
sustainable urban development and mobility. This session was
curated for DP geography students, to enhance their learning
on resilient cities and designs.

Students interacted and directly learned how the COVID-19
pandemic has changed the perspectives of urban planners and
how inclusiveness could be built into the process of development.
Overall, the students deepened their conceptual knowledge and
understanding of the urban environment through the session.

expert session was conducted specifically for Digital
Design students of DP and MYP 5. The expert invited for
the session, Mr. Arjun Vijay, is the Co-founder and Chief
Operating Officer of Giottus Cryptocurrency Exchange.

He explained the concepts behind the working of
cryptocurrency from creating transactions to adding them
as valid transactions in a blockchain. He further talked about
the significant role that miners play in this process. Mr. Vijay
also shared domains other than cryptocurrency where
blockchains can be applied and can be seen presently or in
the near future. This session helped transform the learning
of many students, opening a new field of study.
