The Literary Fest, titled Meraki this year, was a vibrant celebration of
stories and words from around the world. Across grades, a variety of
engaging events brought literature to life in creative ways. MYP 1 and 2
hosted enchanting Literary Cafes, where each classroom was transformed
into immersive settings based on the genre of their assigned book — from
mystery mansions to fantasy forests. MYP 3 and 4 explored the power of
lived experiences through the unique Human Library, while adventurous
minds took part in an exciting Literary Treasure Hunt. Around the campus,
creative stalls like blackout poetry, word games, and book-themed activities
invited students to interact with literature in fun and meaningful ways.
Adding to the atmosphere were genre-themed still installations created by
students, capturing the essence of adventure, dystopia, and historical
fiction. The fest sparked curiosity, creativity, and a renewed love for
reading, truly proving that stories are everywhere, waiting to be discovered.
