Nationalism and Language





              Nationalism often uses a shared language to unite



             people  but  can  exclude  those  who  speak                                                                                                                           Chauvinism



             differently.  When  language  enforces  “purity”  in
                                                                                                                                                                      Chauvinism  is  the  belief
             identity,  it  risks  erasing  cultural  diversity.  The

             challenge  is  to  maintain  linguistic  pride  without

             causing division.
