innovating for impact
science symposium
Under the banner of “Jaago Grahak Jaago,” the
students of MYP 2 brought science and consumer
awareness to life through creative performances and
critical inquiry. From a catchy Periodic Table rap to a
chemistry-themed newsroom skit, students made
learning interactive and engaging.
Investigative experiments on melting points and debates on electric
vehicles highlighted real-world applications of scientific principles,
encouraging honest exploration and responsible thinking. They also
addressed packaged food scams, linking biochemistry with ethical
consumer choices.
Shaina Bansal, MYP 2: “Science felt so real when we connected it to
consumer awareness, especially in our experiment on food adulteration.
I’ll never look at a food label the same way again.”
