Celebrating Patriotism and

Cultural Pride

Republic Day at DPSI was marked by a strong commitment to the values

of integrity and national pride within the secondary school community.

The program began with a patriotic song by MYP 1 to MYP 4 students,

setting a respectful and spirited tone. This was followed by a vibrant dance

performance by TAG students, celebrating India’s cultural richness through

expressive movement and unity. The Inter-Cultural Understanding Team

then delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of unity in

diversity, reinforcing ethical values rooted in mutual respect. Students also

presented thoughtful reflections on the meaning of freedom and

responsibility, emphasizing the importance of truth and accountability.

Head of School Ms. Rima Singh spoke on the value of democracy and

ethical leadership. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt rendition of the

national anthem, reinforcing the day’s message of integrity in thought,

word, and action.
