To wrap up the assembly, the
          students presented information on
          the animal species called ‘Vaquita’
          which is an alarming endangered
species as only 19 of them remain
          in the world.

The need for climate change You can check out the
has never been greater. With Escaping Extinction page on
nationwide lockdowns and drastic Instagram at
fall in levels of vehicles, students @escapingextinction
saw clear blue skies for the first
time, with a big decrease in the air
quality index. Yet, this glimpse of
a better future was fleeting, with
the rise in particulate matter the
          moment lockdowns ended.

             Students participated in a global
          project against climate change,
          known as the Climate Action
          Project (CAP). A six-week-long
project that aims to involve more
          than 1,000,000 students across
          more than 100 countries,
          the CAP was launched in
2017 with the aim to connect
          students globally and allow
          them to discuss, create, and
          share findings and solutions
          online. As participants
          in the project, teachers
          and students exchange
          experiences and local
          insights, making learning
          global and authentic.
          They have also connected
          with Climate Action Project
participants in other parts of the
globe for a virtual exchange of
          learning, experiences, and
          perspectives.
