HEAD OF SCHOOL
Each academic year leaves behind a trail of memories, but 2024–2025 stands
out as a truly defining chapter in our school’s journey—marked by growth, joy,
and bold accomplishments. It marks not only another chapter in our school’s
evolving story but also a deeply personal milestone—11 years since I stepped
into the role of Head of School. Eleven years of learning, leading, laughing, and
growing with a community that has long since blurred the lines between school
and family.
When I pause to look back, I don’t just see milestones—I see moments. I see a
student stepping onto stage for the first time, voice trembling but spirit soaring. I
see a teacher staying late to help a learner have their ‘aha!’ moment. I see a
parent quietly cheering from the back of an auditorium, their pride as radiant as
their child’s. These are the heartbeats of DPSI.
This year felt like a crescendo. A year of brave beginnings and beautiful
continuities. A defining highlight was our authorization as an IB Career-related
Programme (CP) school—a leap that represents not just academic growth, but
our continued promise to offer education that is relevant and personalized. The
CP isn't just another feather in our cap—it’s a doorway into the future. A future
where every learner finds their voice, their path, their purpose.
Throughout the year, our campus has come alive with the rhythm of student life
—each moment adding colour and depth to our collective story. From the
whimsical magic of Peter Pan that lit up our stage, to the kaleidoscope of
cultures at the winter carnival- Festive Globe-Trotting, the infectious joy of World
Dance Day and the creativity of our Early Years Annual Showcase, these events
are not just calendar entries. They are soulful expressions of who we are as a
school: joyful, inclusive, rooted in values, and unapologetically global.
