31. THROUGH RANGOLI

As Diwali fast approached,
the festive fervour was upon
all of us at DPSI. We wanted
to decorate our alma mater
with ‘rangoli’ which is an
essential part of the Diwali
festivities and yet we wanted
to keep up with the ethos of
‘sustainability’ which is our
school mantra this year. Also
this year, India was celebrating
the 150th birth anniversary
of Mahatma Gandhi. All of
this combined gave birth to a
beautiful thought of creating
‘rangoli’ using sustainable
materials with the theme ‘The
World that Gandhi Imagined’.

So an inter-class Rangoli
Making Competition was
organized for the students of
MYP 1 – MYP 2 on October
9, 2019
