The TOK-CAS retreat was an experience where I obtained many memories.
There were many events that helped me grow as a person and were
extremely enjoyable.
One of such events was when we were doing adventure sport. I love
adventure sports and have always wanted to try archery. When I
heard we would be doing archery, I was extremely excited. For our
group, archery was the last event we would do that day. While I
enjoyed all the events, I could not wait to do archery. When I
tried it for the first time, I got a score of 45. I was happy with it
but I was told if you get a bullseye, you get another shot. So,
after everyone’s turn, I tried out again. This time I got a 62.
This was the highest anyone had gotten. For my first time,
I was stoked with this score and went and told everyone.
While it didn’t count as it was my second time, it made
me realize the joy I get from small wins and
achievements.
Another moment which was extremely different
and fun was when we went to the local village,
and we all had to make rotis. I had some
experience at making them before but doing
it in the new environment and learning how
to make it differently was really exciting.
After that we also got to pet some goats
and cows who were extremely
adorable. The whole village
experience was insightful and fun.
Overall camps were a fun and
interesting trip were lived
different experience while
enjoying with my friends.
