Of an unforgettable experience let me tell you the fable
Where we were greeted by stars
As if grains of salt on a pitch black table
Leaving behind the buildings and cars
We entered a world of bliss
A world where phones don’t control us
Where the beauty of the sunrise we don’t miss
The amicable sun peeking over the mountain
Slowly rising up in hues The school's annual camp was filled with
Painting oranges over the blues anticipation and mixed expectations. After two

 After the task was done
 To know that we tried
And the battle against our mind we won

 Building appreciation and fostering respect
 For ourselves and for nature
As to the highest peak we trekked
The magnificent view being the fruit of our labor

 The houses seeming minuscule
Surrounding the lake at its slumber
 With awe we were imbued
As Himalayan white replaced the umber
 These images are etched
 Into our minds for forever
 Since our limits we stretched
This experience is nothing short of a treasure
