Grade 1 visited a hotel in Gurugram to understand the functioning of various departments in operation and
challenges those departments face in their day to day functioning. Young inquirers visited vital departments
such as housekeeping, the kitchen, bakery, and cafeteria for staff to develop a diverse perspective.

Appreciating ‘behind the scene labour’

Kindergarteners heightened their understanding about relationships with animals during a guest speaker
session by the PYP coordinator, Ms Shalini Ranjan and art teacher Mr Meet Narang. They contemplated the
benefits of keeping a pet and how the dynamics of having one enhances wellbeing.
