A Sustainable Future For All
Learners in Grade 3 were dismayed to learn how much plastic is dumped into landfills every day. The
unit on Waste encouraged Seongha Park to change his household practice of storage to accommodate
reuse of plastic bottles as planters. Raavi Aggarwal applied her newly learnt art of recycling paper to
create a collage that highlighted the ill effects of industrial waste. Vani Mehra reused materials to create
a toy for herself and also made planters using coconut shells.
