INTERHOUSE SPELL BEE COMPETITION
The monthly Interhouse Spell Bee showcased student command over
language in a fair and competitive environment. Participants, chosen
through initial rounds, represented their houses and were challenged with
progressively difficult and uncommon words covering diverse topics. Each
round demanded precise spelling, focus, and composure under pressure. The
event encouraged equal opportunity for all houses to demonstrate linguistic
skill, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect.
Celebrating accuracy and perseverance, Mandela House triumphed in the
February round, while Gandhi House clinched their victory in April. The
announcements sparked cheers and applause, with students beaming with
pride and excitement—high-fives and smiles echoed through the halls as
teammates celebrated the fruits of their hard work. The Spell Bee reinforced
the value of fairness alongside academic excellence.
