Vedgram – Roots from Kashmir

Vedgram, a small business with Kashmiri roots, brought organic,

handmade foods to this year’s Karigar Mela. Their range—from cold-

pressed oils to artisanal pickles and teas—celebrated Indian soil and

tradition. With ingredients sourced directly from local farmers and

ancestral recipes preserved with care, one founder said, “This isn’t just

food, it’s memory and medicine.” Their focus on conscious eating made

Vedgram a quiet favorite, symbolizing how heritage nourishes body and

                         soul.

Rafiq Bhai – Block Prints and Silent Echoes

Rafiq Bhai traveled from Bagru, Rajasthan, with hands dyed in natural

colors. His block prints, rooted in centuries-old geometric and floral

designs, were stamped with great care. Though quiet, his eyes lit up

when asked about indigo or turmeric dye. The Mela gave him not just

customers but meaningful conversations about craft, culture, and the

                         stories behind every motif.
