“From Khasi to Jhansi”
The queens gate, is where my path began, it beauty
capturing the stories at hand
It was riddled with tales, winds breezing through my
hands
A guild appeared with wisdom bright,
And spoke of Jhansi's fearless fight.
She was a queen who rose with sword in her hand,
To guard her home even when it was hard to take a
stand.
Her fire burned through time and chains,
Her courage roared through her pain.
And here we still are, singing her making sure not to
famish her fame.,
A warrior’s strength, a woman’s flame.
From silence deep to Jhansi’s fire,
She lit in me a deep desire.
To live to own, to own to carve even when it is not
shown
