EcoThreads
Turning plastic waste into purpose.
Eco-Threads, founded by Aarush Batra,
Manicka Kumar, and Shreya Gupta, is a
youth-led startup turning discarded
plastic into PET fabric for eco-friendly
apparel. Tackling fast fashion’s impact,
they create stylish shirts from 100%
recycled plastic. Backed by the IB Youth
Action Fund 2025 with a grant of USD
1500 for aligning with the UN SDGs, Eco-Threads plans to grow through
school drives, local production, and community outreach—turning waste
into wearable change.
At EcoThreads, we’re reimagining sustainability
—one shirt at a time. As three students driven
by purpose, we turn discarded plastic bottles
into bold, expressive fashion that proves eco-
conscious style isn’t boring. To us, sustainability
is creative, personal, and powerful. We want our
generation to see fashion not just as self-
expression, but as a force for impact. Each piece
tells a story—from waste to wear—to inspire
change in how we see clothes and the planet.
Because sometimes, making a difference starts
with what you wear.
