Resilience redefined at
WSC Regionals 2025
With unwavering determination and intellectual grit, DPS International
students showcased remarkable resilience at the World Scholar’s Cup
Regionals, excelling across multiple categories including Team Debate,
Scholar’s Bowl, Collaborative Writing, and Scholar’s Challenge.
In the seniors’ category, Srishti Minocha, Bhavya Bansal, and Sahaana TM
secured third place in both Team Bowl and Team Challenge and second
place overall as a team. Bhavya Bansal stood out as the top individual
scholar, earning the prestigious Jac Khor Award. The team of Aarush
Batra, Manicka Kumar, and Adit Amit Kumar clinched first place in the
Team Debate Championship, while Kimaya Singh took second place in
Individual Debate. The trio of Jap Kasliwal, Yaksham Sharma, and
Yashveer Pratap Banga won first place in Team Writing, with Manicka
Kumar coming second in Individual Writing.
In the juniors’ category, Vedanshi Singh, Akshita Oberoi, and Oviya Nakul
finished eighth place as a Champion Team overall. Maalvikaa Sharma was
ranked overall as the 11th top scholar. Akanksha Mitra earned seventh
place in Debate. The team of Ojas Bhatnagar, Raghavendra Singh Yadav,
and Krish Varadkar secured sixth place in Team Bowl, and Vedanshi Singh
achieved third place in Individual Writing.
The DPS International contingent not only demonstrated academic
excellence but also exemplified teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking
— qualities that define the spirit of the World Scholar’s Cup.
