Apart from the various
competitions held at both
locations, students also got to
experience local food, shops,
people, culture and even the
traffic laws of the respective
countries. Time was also spent
visiting the local amusement
parks, zoo, participating
in scavenger hunts and a
celebratory ball.
Eventually it was time to meet
up with the crème de la crème
of WSC at Yale where the
Tournament of Champions
was held with teams from 61
countries in attendance. The
DPSI team got to explore the
Yale campus and meet Yale
students for a 3-hour panel
discussion about colleges,
application process and about
life at Yale.
The highlight of this trip would
definitely be our performance,
all of us were extremely
proud of what we wrote,
how we debated and how we
represented our school. The
ending was bittersweet as with
the Alpacas and medals in hand
we would part with the amazing
friends we made at WSC.
There is so much about WSC
and the whole experience that
fosters growth and learning,
the friends we make and our
connection with the WSC staff
is unique and almost impossible
to replicate. We hope we have
been able to paint a beautiful
picture of our experiences with
our words for you all.
