MISSING OUR SCHOOL
by Etash Gupta & Anjika Gupta, 3A & 3D
We are missing our school,
And our friends who are so cool.
Being at home all the time is no fun,
We want to go to the playground and run.
Hope our school reopens soon,
and we can stay there till afternoon,
We are having our classes on MS Teams,
It’s so silent and we want to scream.
We want to meet teachers and friends,
Hope this corona will soon end!
YOUR IMAGINARY FRIEND
by Anvee Arora, 4A
I can be on the tallest mountains, If you’re lonely,
Or at the end of the farthest sea, I’ll be by your side,
Maybe resting in a deep dark cave, I’ll always be loyal to you,
That might be where you’ll find me! And kind.
I might be in Africa, Now you know,
I might be at the North Pole, Where I stay and what I do,
Maybe in Russia, And if you want to leave me,
But mostly in your soul. I’ll be fine with that too.
Now can you guess who I am? You’re my friend,
I’m just a figment of your imagination, Even if I am not a real person,
What do I look like, you ask me, If you’re with me,
Well, it depends on your creation. Your thoughts won’t worsen!
I’m not real,
But you can accept me, Note: I was inspired by a book called Crenshaw in which
I am sure that people tease you, there is a boy who has an imaginary cat as a friend.
But it's your choice to believe.
