International Mother Language Day (IMLD) is celebrated annually on February 21. This day provides an
opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of multilingualism and encourage the use of mother
tongue in education, communication, and cultural expression. All grades in the Primary Years Programme
enjoyed celebrating this event with story-telling, language related games, and guest speaker sessions.
