Health and fitness

             According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
             physical fitness is defined as ‘the ability to carry out daily tasks with
             vigour and alertness’ Fitness is also described as a state of being fit,
             healthy, and capable of doing any task.
             So, what is the importance of fitness? Regular exercise and physical
             activity promotes strong muscles and bones, and improves the
             cardiovascular and respiratory health, along with overall health. Staying
             fit also helps you maintain a healthy weight, and lessen the risk of
             diabetes, cardiac diseases, and certain types of cancer. In order to be
             in a healthy and relaxed state of mind, one must be physical fit. Fitness
             is important for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Being fit increases
             energy, maintains physical functionality and minimizes the risk of
             diseases.
             How do we stay fit? Well, in order to stay fit, one must change their
             lifestyle. You must incorporate a regular exercise routine, as well as eat
             healthy. You must get an adequate amount of sleep, exercise daily, and
             spend time in the sun regularly. This can be done by playing all kinds of
             sports.
             Physical fitness is important for children and adults alike. It helps us
             maintain health, and reduce the risk of diseases by strengthening the
             immune system.
