Oh! Mother Earth I am surprised by your girth,

When I think about your landforms I can’t control

my mirth,

Seas and oceans are expanses in blue,

Icebergs and glaciers keep the cool,

Plains, plateaus are like jewels,

Rivers and lakes are playful pools,

Mountains and valleys inspire awe,

Mother Earth! You continue to be an enigma.
