Damaged and Lost Books
If a library book is accidentally damaged or is lost, we stress on the responsibility to report it and this will have to be replaced by the student. Replacement copies must be new books and must be the same edition as the lost items, or newer. Used copies are not acceptable replacements. Students will be charged the full cost of any library book damaged or lost by them if they are not able to replace them. They may also be charged for highlighting, underlining or writing in library books, or for placing post-it notes or other adhesive markers in books. Students who are due to pay damaged/lost book fine will not be allowed to check out additional books until the loss is compensated.
The Library gratefully accepts all donations of recent books in good condition. Those that meet our selection criteria will be added to the collection. All others will in turn be donated to another worthy cause. Students are encouraged to donate a book in their mother language to the library on their birthday.
