The Imaginary Invalid
The evening of October 26th witnessed the DPS International school open its doors yet again to welcome parents and guests to celebrate the students’ reaching an all-time high in their 4th Annual Day show. The students performed a contemporary adaptation of ‘The Imaginary Invalid’, a classic play by Moliere, thus combining the tried-and-true with new-and-trending. The Chief Guest, M-me Marie Doublier, the attaché for Cooperation in Education from the Embassy of France to India, had graced the occasion along with Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, DPSI Pro-Vice Chairperson. Other distinguished guests included patrons Mr. Ravi Jaipuria, Mrs. Dhara Jaipuria, Mrs. Aditi Misra, Principal, DPS sector-45 and other managing committee members. The guests celebrated many achievements of the students, from the cadence of musical, thespian and dance performances on stage, to the remarkable efforts of those who chose to apply their talents to the fields of art and design in order to add vibrancy and vigor to the evening’s Parisian entourage. DPS International firmly believes in the unique talent each child possesses, and their entire journey of creativity, hard work, persistence and dedication serves as a powerful reminder that everyone is a star, however, it is their unity and togetherness in constellations that makes the universe light up.
